7:30pm session with Henry. Tonight we talked about the history of our countries and the plot of the movie 'Back to the Future', which is one of the student's favorite movies. 

New words: Processed (e.g. processed foods), way, humor, invent, confident, past - present - future. 

You went to the Shuri castle in April. It was good to go there.

When I look at the computer without my glasses, my eyes hurt.

Hatsue cannot see the commuter without her glasses. I had very small font on the computer.

What is Okinawa like?

Okinawa has really great views, beautiful sea, and beautiful small towns. I like the meat in Okinawa. I was in Okinawa for three days and two nights. 

I heard Okinawa is famous for people living a very long time.

Processed foods

The name Okinawa sounds familiar. America occupied Okinawa. America occupied Okinawa for 37 years.

I'll have to learn more about that. 

Do I look younger than 26 or older than 26. 

What did I learn in American history. I learning about the civil war. From early time to present day.

Is history a big focus in school?

Civil war. In the 1700s, the industrial revolution happened.

Japanese gardens in Japan are way nicer than Japanese gardens in the US.

I thought you could tell us what a movie is about.

Back to the future: The main characters are named Marty and Doc. Doc is Emit Brown's nickname. Marty is a high school student. Doc invented the time machine. Marty and Doc used the time machine to go 30 years in the past. Marty and Doc returned to the original time. There were big changes, such as Marty's house being big, and Marty is surprised.

Invent, inventor 

An inventor creates something for the first time. Designing is part of the process to make something.

Was it helpful to do an activity like this to practice english?

Was telling me about a movie too hard
