Back to the future: The main characters are named Marty and Doc. Doc is Emit Brown's nickname. Marty is a high school student. Doc invented the time machine. Marty and Doc used the time machine to go 30 years in the past. Marty and Doc returned to the original time. There were big changes, such as Marty's house being big, and Marty is surprised.

An inventor creates something for the first time. Designing is part of the process to make something.
