Today we talked about our favourite animals, animals that are native to Japan and Australia as well as famous landmarks in Japan and Australia.
New words that we have learnt:
- Siblings: A brother or sister
- Brunch: A meal that serves as both breakfast and lunch
- Competition: An activity of striving to win something
Why do you want to learn English?
- I can teach English and Maths to Junior High school student, so I want to speak English well.
-I am going to travel and speak English. This month I am going to South Italy.
Does Japan have any native animals? There are wild boar and wild deer around Hinase.
What are your favourite animals? - I like rabbits
- I like dogs and have a pet Shiba
In Melbourne we have a famous river called ‘Yarra River’. In Melbourne we also have a famous train station called Flinders Street Station. Does Japan have any famous train stations? Tokyo has a really nice train station.
Where do you live?
I live in Hinase. I was born here.
I live in Bizen which is a 15 minute drive from here. My favourite city to visit is Kyoto.
Food
Melbourne is known for their ‘brunch’
What food do you like to eat?
Sushi. I recommend ‘Hamashi’
I like ‘Borokoya’ near the fish market. They have very cheap food.
The menu changes every day.
Yesterday my husband cooked Anago (Sea water eel)

I have one younger sister who lives around 5 minutes by car from me

Do you watch Tennis? Yes, I like Nishikori. He was born in Matsue.
What are your hobbies?
I like flower arranging and sowing. I also like pictures and drawing. This is called Etegami in Japan. I also like going to hot springs near Ako.
I like shopping, travelling and watching movies.
What do you like to do with your friends?
I like shopping and eating lunch with friends
I like going to lunch with my friends and last week we went hiking to Seto ohashi bridge and Kojima Jeans street.

I have been to 25 countries.
