Christmas treats.lovely morning with ladies.

This morning was great! We had quite a Christmas spread (a word for feast or buffet). We had zenzai, pickled daikon, sweet beans, lemon curd and roasted chestnuts with cinnamon glaze. Thoughtful - showing consideration for the needs of other people E.g. wrapping presents in a pretty way is a thoughtful thing to do Not too bad - a phrase used when you want to say something is good and possibly better than you expected it to be. It's a good thing I didn't eat breakfast this morning! So much tasty food to try! This is my first time roasting chestnuts. Some may still be hard, especially the bigger ones. Please eat carefully Reduce – thicken liquid (a cooking word) Heightened - increased or elevated E.g. When you are blind, your other senses are heightened
